Learn to Series: Open Sew

Service Description

An Open Sew event is a social gathering where people bring their own sewing projects to work on in a shared space with other crafters. What to Expect: Not a formal class: There is no set a lesson. Shared workspace: Large tables to cut fabric and lay out pieces, and with a limited number of sewing machines or basic tools to use. Community and help: Attendees chat, share tips, ask for advice on tricky patterns, and help each other troubleshoot. All skill levels: Beginners and experts work side-by-side on everything from quick mending jobs to complex quilts. Moderator: Vera Fernandes, The Culinary Quilter Registration is required.
